... into a wiki page is not a straightforward task, as Wiki tables are encoded as a series of special characters that are not intuitive.
However, there are workarounds, and two quite simple ones are presented in this article.

Creating Tables in Microsoft Excel ® and importing them into the Wiki
Basic skills in Microsoft Excel ® are necessary.
Create the table in Microsoft Excel ®
Create the table you want to insert into the Wiki in Microsoft Excel ®
Select the table and copy it.
Open third party party software Excel2Wiki
Open the third party software Excel2Table from the Internet and paste the copied table into the window provided.
Uncheck the "format header" checkbox.
Click "Submit Query".
Copy Wiki table code
The tool shows the table code that is necessary to insert into the Wiki:
Select the code and copy it.
Paste the code into the appropriate Wiki page
Open the Wiki page in Edit mode, and paste the code into an appropriate place. If you want to have borders around the table cells, add the border="1" code, as shown below.
Save the Wiki page, and the table is shown.
Creating Tables in Microsoft Word ® and importing them into the Wiki
Basic skills in Microsoft Word ® are necessary.
Install the Microsoft Word Add-In for Media Wiki
Using Microsoft Word ® to prepare tables for using them in the Wiki requires the installation of the Word "Media Wiki" add-in, which can be found here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=12298
You need administrator rights on your workstation to install the add-in, and you might have to ask your local System Administrator for assistance.
Create the table in Microsoft Word ®
Save the table as "MediaWiki" file
When saving the file, select the MediaWiki (*.txt) option:
Open the .txt file with the Notepad
Open the file you just saved, using the Notepad:
Select and copy the code.
Paste the code into the appropriate Wiki page
Open the Wiki page in Edit mode, and paste the code into an appropriate place. If you want to have borders around the table cells, add the border="1" code, as shown below.
Save the Wiki page, and the table is shown.
