This KER has been replaced by KER 2469: Covalent Binding, Protein leads to Increased proinflammatory mediators in AOP 39: Covalent Binding of Low Molecular Weight Organic Chemicals to Proteins leads to Sensitisation (Sensitization) of the Respiratory Tract.

This KER was orphaned to allow KE 1496: Increased proinflammatory mediators to replace KE 151: Activation, Inflammatory cytokines, chemokines, cytoprotective gene pathways in keeping with the AOP wiki principles to use previously developed KEs where applicable.
