Events Including This Stressor
6-bromoindirubin- 3′-oxime (6BIO), a hemi-synthetic derivative of indirubins found in edible mollusks and plants, is a potent inhibitor of Glycogen synthase kinase 3β (Gsk-3β) (Sklirou et al., 2017). In zebrafish embryos treated with BIO, a selective GSK3 inhibitor that activates Wnt signaling, gbx2 expression was specifically repressed in the telencephalon, but was unaffected or weakly activated in the isthmus and OV (Wang et al., 2018).
BIO (6-bromoindirubin-3’-oxime) inhibits GSK3beta (Wu et al., 2015).
