Key Event Description
Following pulmonary exposure, the stressor interacts with cellular membranes of alveolar macrophages, other inflammatory cells, epithelial cells and proteins (lung surfactants) in the lung space.
The stressor acts as an antagonist of PPARγ of epithelial and inflammatory cells in the lung.
